I always have earbuds in my ears at work. Unfortunately, several times in the past, they’ve bruised my ears from excessive usage. This is my own fault though. Moreover, I have two sets of earbuds that I switch out constantly throughout the day, depending on battery life. These earbuds are my Apple AirPods and my JLab Jbuds. While listening to music, I’ve learned that I’m less anxious, happier, more productive, and mentally alert (John Hopkins Medicine, 2022). As you can see, musical is very crucial to me.
So, the next question is, what type of music do I listen to?
My answer is: a little bit over everything.
However, I mostly prefer rap and hip hop music. I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie that enjoys sh*t talking, rawness, and self expression. In my opinion, rap and hip hop offer these things.
Below is a list of my top songs in order. I’ll post the video for my all time favorite song below. Are any of these songs your favorite songs too? Or do you despise any of these songs? I’m always willing to listen to new music genres.
